Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Travel Registered Nurse for a reputable hospital in Rochester, New York. This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $3,500 based on a 5x8s Day shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology RN:

Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Prepare and monitor patients, including vital signs and sedation management
Administer medications and assist with IV therapies
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary care teams
Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure care, and follow-up
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Requirements of the IR RN:

Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS required (ACLS preferred)
Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology, procedural, or critical care experience
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
