Interventional Radiology RN – Travel Contract
Position: Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR) Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Contract: 13 Weeks Call: Shared with Franklin; currently approximately 1 call shift/month based on department needs, with Franklin RNs covering 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: As specified by contract
Position Overview
The Interventional Radiology RN provides nursing care to inpatient and outpatient patients undergoing image-guided procedures and radiology interventions. The RN will also perform PICC insertions and provide consultative support for vascular access placement.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care before, during, and after IR procedures
Care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients
Assist with image-guided minimally invasive procedures
Perform PICC insertions and support vascular access procedures
Monitor patients and administer medications as required
Provide patient education and recovery care
Float onsite within the RN's skill set as needed
Float to other sites within a 40-mile radius as required
Requirements
Active Wisconsin RN license in hand at submission
BLS
ACLS
RN certification
Recent Interventional Radiology experience
EPIC experience
Previous travel nursing experience
Must be comfortable with call and floating requirements
Call & Holiday Requirements
Approximately 1 call rotation per month currently
Call is shared with Franklin RNs based on department needs
Holidays rotate with regular staff
