Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Rotating schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) | On-call required on a rotating basis including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Vascular Interventional Radiology setting within a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma teaching facility
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation during interventional procedures
- Circulate for interventional radiology procedures as needed
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
Required Qualifications- Active South Carolina RN license or active Compact State nursing license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing
- Experience with moderate sedation
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the placing agency prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in pediatric and/or adult vascular interventional radiology
- Experience circulating for interventional procedures
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
