Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology in Columbus, GA

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures unit serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Manage an average daily census of 25 patients across 4 procedure rooms
• Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks in daily clinical practice
• Participate in rotating call schedule shared among the unit team
• Float within the facility within scope of practice as operationally needed
• Work rotating weekend shifts (every third weekend, no more than 2 per month) and required major holidays per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (GA or Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of IR / Special Procedures RN experience; first-time travelers in this specialty are not accepted
• Epic EMR experience required – hard stop
• Stroke Thrombectomy experience required – hard stop
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience using SBAR communication in a procedural or acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience in an IR or Special Procedures environment
