Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures Registered Nurse

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting within a short-term acute care facility
• Assist with and support procedures including CT-guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower extremity angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures
• Support nuclear medicine and stress testing procedures as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weeknight call (1700–0700) approximately every other week and periodic weekend call rotation every 4–6 weeks
• Provide weekend staffing coverage on a rotating basis, approximately every 3–4 weekends depending on unit staffing needs
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

• Active RN license in Washington State (pending license considered for quick-start candidates)
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology or related RN experience
• ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability and willingness to fulfill on-call obligations as outlined by the unit schedule
• Permanent residence must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for a travel contract

• 3–5 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with EPIC charting system
• Familiarity with a broad range of IR procedures including Y90 and nuclear medicine/stress testing

• Work in a well-established, 325-bed acute care facility with a comprehensive and varied IR procedure caseload
