Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0800–1830) | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care in a high-volume Interventional Radiology department with 6 procedure rooms and 11 holding/recovery beds, seeing approximately 25–35 patients per day
  • Assist with and monitor patients undergoing a wide variety of IR procedures including catheter placements, angiograms, fistulagrams, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, PE lysis, Neuro IR procedures (diagnostic angiograms, coilings, stent placements, thrombectomies), and epidural injections
  • Administer and monitor moderate sedation throughout procedures, managing patient hemodynamics and recognizing and responding to complications
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, serving as either primary or secondary on-call RN; the department maintains on-call coverage at all times
  • Adapt to changing patient and departmental needs in a fast-paced procedural environment
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Active RN licensure in Pennsylvania (or compact eligibility)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Demonstrated experience administering and monitoring moderate sedation
  • Ability to integrate quickly into an established team with minimal orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Previous Emergency Department (ED) experience providing critical care skills applicable to the IR environment
  • Previous Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience with strong hemodynamic monitoring and management skills
  • Comfort working in high-volume procedural settings with diverse case types including Neuro IR
