Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within Interventional Radiology, including Holding Room, IR/Cath Lab, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI departments
• Start IVs and assist physicians with sterile procedures utilizing proper circulating technique
• Monitor and manage patient hemodynamics throughout procedures
• Take call one night per week and every other weekend in support of Trauma Center requirements
• Chart using Meditech (WOWs provided); administer medications via Pyxis; operate Solaris IV pumps

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of California
• BLS and ACLS certifications issued through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Electrophysiology
• Demonstrated ability to start IVs and circulate sterile procedures
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility due to call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a PACU or Pre-Op setting
• Hemodynamic computer experience
• PICC line experience
