    Registered Nurse – IR/Special Procedures

    Location

    San Francisco, CA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Monday – Friday | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures setting within a teaching hospital environment
    • Administer and monitor procedural sedation in accordance with facility protocols
    • Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures and interventional radiology cases
    • Perform pacemaker interrogation as required by the unit
    • Float to other departments, units, or facilities as needed when qualifications are met
    • Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
    • Experience in Radiology and Adult Acute Care settings; proficiency in Diagnostic Imaging, IR, and Procedural Sedation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in ICU, Emergency Department, PACU, or a procedural area
    • Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification
    • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
    • Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred
