Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Monday – Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures setting within a teaching hospital environment
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation in accordance with facility protocols
- Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures and interventional radiology cases
- Perform pacemaker interrogation as required by the unit
- Float to other departments, units, or facilities as needed when qualifications are met
- Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience in Radiology and Adult Acute Care settings; proficiency in Diagnostic Imaging, IR, and Procedural Sedation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in ICU, Emergency Department, PACU, or a procedural area
- Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred
