Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to both inpatient and outpatient populations within an Interventional Radiology department
Assist with a wide variety of IR procedures including angiography, embolization, drainage procedures, tumor ablations, and image-guided biopsies
Support patient care across a dedicated PACU and ambulatory recovery unit
Accurately document patient care and procedure information using EPIC EMR
Participate in rotating on-call schedule as required by the department
Required Qualifications
Active and clear New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Critical Care setting
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Interventional Procedural Department (IR, Cardiology, Vascular Interventions, or Neuro IR)
Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
5 or more years of experience in a Critical Care setting
3 or more years of experience in an Interventional Procedural Department (IR, Cardiology, Vascular Interventions, or Neuro IR)
Previous travel nursing experience
