Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Days | 10-hour shifts | 40 hours per week | 16-week contract | Onsite | Rotational call, weekend call, and holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to endovascular patients within a Neuro Interventional Radiology setting
- Assist with and support procedures including angiograms, stroke interventions, carotid stents, and aneurysm treatments
- Monitor and assess neurological status of patients using established clinical protocols
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC EMR
- Participate in rotational on-call coverage including weekends and assigned holidays
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Neuro ICU experience
- NIHSS certification
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Neuro IR lab setting
- Prior radiology nursing experience
- Experience in an IR or Cath Lab environment
