Contract | Days (12-hour or 10-hour shifts) | On-site | Includes 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month
Key Responsibilities
Assist with and provide nursing care during interventional radiology procedures including tunneled line placements, nephrostomy tubes, and drain insertions
Support biopsy, embolization, chest tube, and TIPS procedures in a specialized IR setting
Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after interventional procedures
Participate in on-call rotation including weeknight and weekend call assignments
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Current PALS certification
Experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
Hands-on experience with IR-specific procedures such as TIPS, embolizations, and nephrostomy tube management
Familiarity with scrub and circulator roles within an IR suite
