Job Details

• Location: Northern Virginia, approximately 30 miles outside Washington, DC
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid licenses and certifications including BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring (C-EFM), and ALS. Minimum of 2 years labor experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility, teamwork, experience with labor, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, inductions, and OB triage.
• Additional Information: The unit handles approximately 10 labor beds, 13 postpartum beds, and 2 operating rooms. It features a Level 2 NICU with 24/7 neonatology support and in-house OB hospitalist services. The team regularly performs labor, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and inductions, with equipment such as labor tubs and fetal monitoring systems. Candidates should demonstrate excellent teamwork and adaptability to growth opportunities.
