Job Summary:
A labor and delivery nurse position is available in a well-equipped healthcare facility located in Reston, Virginia. This role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position supports the organizations commitment to patient-centered care within a womens and childrens service line.

Job Details:

• Location: Reston, VA
• Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, totaling 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate certification, no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit, familiarity with scrub role and circulating in the operating room helpful.
• Additional Information:
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within womens and childrens service line.
  • Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Intermediate is not required.
  • No blood patch procedures are performed frequently.
  • Dress code: Hospital supplies scrubs.
  • The position is for one full-time nurse.
