Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel contract requiring 2+ years of high-volume L&D experience and prior travel experience.

Details

  • Mother Baby unit within a 257-licensed bed acute and sub-acute care hospital
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 36 hours guaranteed per week
  • Weekend and on-call schedules to be determined by the facility
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active RN license required (MD or compact)
  • 2+ years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Must be willing to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours of offer if not already held
  • Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours of offer if not already held
  • Active BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
  • NRP certification required
  • COVID vaccination required with state record; declinations not accepted
  • Must be willing to work the facility's assigned schedule with no scheduling restrictions

Additional Information

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
  • Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self and those under their direction
  • Utilize specialized clinical knowledge and judgment to provide age-appropriate patient care
  • Locals accepted with no radius rule
  • Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed
