Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night-shift assignment requiring 2+ years of high-volume L&D experience and previous travel experience.

Details

  • Mother Baby unit at an acute and sub-acute care hospital
  • High-volume Labor & Delivery patient population
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
  • On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
  • Candidates must be willing to work the facility's schedule with no restrictions

Requirements

  • Active RN license (MD or compact) required at time of submission
  • 2+ years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Willing to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours if offered
  • Willing to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours if offered
  • Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Current NRP certification required
  • COVID vaccination required with state record, declinations not accepted
  • Supervisory references required from the last 6 and 12 months
  • Discipline-specific skills checklist required for L&D

Additional Information

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
  • Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self and those under their direction
  • Utilizes specialized knowledge and clinical judgment to provide age-appropriate patient care
  • Locals accepted with no radius rule
  • RTO requests limited to no more than 5 days
