Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in Shelby, North Carolina. This role involves managing labor and postpartum care, including activities such as labor management, cesarean section circulation, newborn resuscitation, Pitocin and epidural management, and working within a team to provide quality patient care. The position is suited for candidates with at least two years of experience in Labor and Delivery and the ability to work in an LDRP setting.

Job Details

• Location: 201 EAST GROVER STREET, SHELBY, NC 28150
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; ability to work in an LDRP setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability and willingness to work in a Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit; experience with labor management, circulating cesarean sections, triage, resuscitation of newborns, Pitocin and epidural management
• Float: Float rotation may be required to facilities within region as needed, with pay for travel time during floating shifts
• Additional Information: May be required to work in a team environment with support from charge nurses, hospitalists 24/7 for newborn care, and resource nurses when available. Technology used includes fetal monitors, ultrasound, and electronic medical records, with hospital-issued scrub color (green) and free parking.
