Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in Austin, Texas. This contract position offers an opportunity to work within a Level 4 designated maternal center that provides care for the most complex patients at any gestation. The role involves delivering high-risk maternal care, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher, placement in Texas, 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse or related field, experience with high-risk maternal patients, circulating in operating room and triage settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with more than 5 years of experience are highly valued.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit operates on a Level 4 maternal designation, caring for complex patients at any gestation.
  • Staff includes approximately 100 professionals, with a mix of RNs and support staff, scheduled for day and night shifts with a team-oriented approach.
  • The unit stabilizes patient throughput with a focus on vaginal and Cesarean delivery procedures, tubal ligations, cerclage placements, and more.
  • Undergoing renovations to update all rooms, with a highly tenured, supportive leadership team.
