Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L& D) Nights located at the facilitys maternity department. This role involves providing specialized care during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods in a setting with six labor and delivery rooms, two triage rooms, and five postpartum/ Women's Health Service rooms, including two NICU beds. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in Centricity electronic charting, possess current BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications, and be capable of taking charge in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility to float to Mother-Baby units as needed, with a typical caseload of approximately 80-90 births per month.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NRP; relevant experience in labor and delivery nursing; educational background demonstrated through appropriate licensure and credentials; location requirements met; minimum 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Centricity electronic charting system; ability to handle charge responsibilities; experience in high-volume birthing facilities; familiarity with AWHONN standards for patient ratios
• Additional Information: The role involves charting with Centricity and medication administration documented via Paragon. Candidates should be adaptable to float to the Mother-Baby unit when necessary and able to manage a high-volume caseload in a busy maternity setting. The start date is 10/05/2026, with the assignment scheduled to end on 01/02/2027.
