Job Summary:

The Massachusetts-based Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position is located on an island community approximately 30 miles at sea. The role requires caring for a diverse patient population with approximately 15,000 residents and seasonal visitors. The position involves working rotating shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality postpartum and neonatal care, utilizing Epic electronic medical record systems and postnatal experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
• Shift Details: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts registered nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Epic experience, postpartum care experience, no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care, or related maternity services
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Facility fixed notes highlight the importance of Epic and postpartum experience. Shared housing is provided at no cost to the traveler. The position starts on 09/21/2026.
