• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: As needed to postpartum
• Orientation: 2 shifts

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Intermediate or higher EFM certification
• Experience following AWHONN ratios and standards of care
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to high-risk and routine obstetric patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Support laboring patients, antepartum patients, and postpartum transitions as needed
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor fetal status and interpret EFM tracings using OB Trace
• Collaborate with OB hospitalists, neonatology, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Deliver patient education and family support throughout the birth process
• Maintain accurate charting in MEDITECH and follow established unit protocols
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
