Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse, located at a healthcare facility, is responsible for providing specialized care to women during childbirth and postpartum recovery. This role involves supporting vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, following established unit guidelines, and ensuring positive patient outcomes.
Job Details
Certifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role requires floating to mother-baby units if needed and being a team player who is dedicated to excellent patient care. Candidates should possess skills in labor management, circulating cesarean sections, and using GE fetal monitoring and meditech electronic medical records. Experience in vaginal delivery, cesarean sections, triage, and iron infusions is preferred.
Submission Requirements: Candidates should be able to start on 10/12/2026 and the assignment ends on 01/11/2027.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience, knowledge of obstetric procedures, and the ability to work night shifts.
