American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Shawnee Mission, KS

Start Date: September 16, 2026

Location: Shawnee Mission, Kansas

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Every other weekend required. No call responsibilities.

Highlights:

  • 91-day travel assignment in the Kansas City metropolitan area
  • Focused assignment within the women's services tower with no floating outside of postpartum units
  • Predictable night shift schedule with every other weekend rotation
  • No on-call requirements for better work-life balance

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Kansas or compact state licensure
  • Labor & Delivery specialty certification and experience required
  • Ability to work a set schedule without blocked dates or time-off requests during assignment
  • Experience in women's health and postpartum care preferred
