Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Spokane, Washington. This position involves working in a Level III Trauma Center with a focus on obstetric care, including labor, postpartum, and antepartum services. The role requires flexibility to float between units and participation in on-call responsibilities, with scheduled night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications; 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or related obstetric care; Experience with patient ratios of 1:1-2, 1:3-4; on external charting system with Epic experience; patient care for neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults, including postpartum and labor
• Preferred Qualifications: NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) experience; previous charge or leadership experience in obstetric units; experience with complex procedures and clinical skills listed
• Additional Information: Position involves float between units, on-call duties during low census periods, and every other weekend work. Candidates must meet compliance requirements, including a background check and documentation submissions as specified. Prior experience working at a healthcare organization or facility is required, including references. Travelers may be asked to float between nearby facilities.
