First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Peru, Illinois.

Obstetrics (OB / L&D / Postpartum) Registered Nurse – Night Shift

Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:30 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
Weekend & Holiday Protocol: 3 weekends per 6-week schedule block; holiday coverage required per unit needs.
On-Call Protocol: On-call/standby applies only in low-census scenarios for assigned shifts.
Assignment Duration: 8-Week Contract (08/17/2026 start date) | 1 Open Position

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of clinical OB / L&D nursing experience.
Required Core Skills [HARDSTOP]: Must have proven experience with newborn stabilization and acting as the circulating nurse for C-sections.
Submission Identification Mandate: Last 4 digits of SSN, clinician middle initial, and any Requested Time Off (RTO) must be provided at submission.
Licensure Requirements: Active Illinois State RN License OR verification that the IL licensure application process has been officially initiated.
Compliance Screening: Must pass a drug screen for all panels.
EMR Proficiency: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR and OBIX / Philips fetal monitoring systems.
Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Active AAP NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Active C-EFM / EFM (NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification.
