• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and every other holiday
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• Setting: Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics / Mother-Baby

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• At least 1 year of registered nurse experience required
• Recent OB nursing, Emergency Department, or critical care experience preferred
• BLS preferred prior to direct patient care
• NRP preferred or obtainable within 3 months of hire
• Ability to flex between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby as needed
• Comfort working with electronic fetal monitoring and obstetric equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby settings
• Perform ongoing assessments, triage, and nursing interventions based on patient condition and acuity
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and support electronic fetal monitoring processes
• Assist with vaginal exams, labor support, breastfeeding education, and discharge teaching
• Circulate and recover C-sections when needed; scrub experience is a plus but not required
• Collaborate closely with the interprofessional team to support maternal and newborn outcomes
• Promote patient safety, family education, and a positive birth experience
