• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics / Mother Baby
• Environment: Unit-based care with opportunities to flex between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Recent OB, ED, or critical care experience preferred
• BLS preferred upon hire, with completion prior to direct patient care; ACLS may be accepted in lieu of BLS
• NRP preferred at hire, with completion within 3 months of hire
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification preferred if interpreting fetal monitoring
• BSN preferred
• Comfortable working nights, high-acuity situations, and a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for women, newborns, and families across the labor and delivery, postpartum, triage, and obstetrics setting
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes throughout the course of care
• Monitor fetal and maternal status, including electronic fetal monitoring and OB-related assessments
• Support labor management, triage, stabilization, and emergency response as needed
• Assist with circulating and recovering C-sections; scrub experience is a plus but not required
• Administer medications safely and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on breastfeeding, self-care, newborn care, discharge planning, and follow-up
• Contribute to a safe, supportive, and efficient unit environment while adapting to changing patient needs
