Position Description:
Responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care in a Womens Services unit, including maternity, postpartum, and pediatric care, at a 143-bed acute care facility dedicated to meeting diverse healthcare needs.
Required Qualifications:
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, with North Carolina RN licensure. No minimum years of experience is required, although two years with charge experience are preferred.
Schedule:
7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 36 hours per week.
Additional Information:
The unit holds 3 Labor & Delivery beds, 4 Triage beds, 2 Antepartum beds, and 10 Postpartum/Gynecology/Pediatric beds. The patient population includes maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. Equipment includes Philips fetal monitors with OB Traver Vue EHR system. Float rotation may be required.
