Job Summary: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The unit accommodates adult and infant patient populations, delivering comprehensive obstetric services with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Job Details:
Location: Ottumwa Regional Health Center, Ottumwa, IA
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum, with availability of 48-hour options, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 12/28/2026
Required Qualifications: Iowa State SING Background Check (criminal and child abuse portions) no exceptions, fully cleared B (background) checks, mandatory reporter certification for Child and Adult, 10-panel drug screening including opiates, titers within last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB). 1-2 years clinical experience as an RN in Labor and Delivery.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and infant patient care, knowledge of obstetric diagnosis and treatment.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The candidate may care for female post-operative patients. Scrubs provided. Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered.
