GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

Opportunity:

RN - L&D

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work in a 29-bed Birthing Center Labor & Delivery unit
• Patient ratios of 4-6:1
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 2-3 RNs
• Utilize equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring
• Work with EMR systems Meditech and CPN
• Perform and assist with post-operative gynecological surgeries, urogynecology surgeries, and ectopic pregnancies
• Provide care for high-risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization including PPROM, preeclampsia, previa, and preterm labor
• Perform fetal monitoring including NSTs and GYN oncology post-op care
• Care for women's health med-surg, post-partum NICU moms, and readmitted post-partum complications
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care postpartum experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• OB experience preferred
• Med-surg and GYN experience preferred
• Must follow HCA ICARE standards of behavior
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to stay busy in a fast-paced environment preferred

This facility is a dedicated birthing center offering specialized care for labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecological patients. The unit supports a wide range of women's health needs, from routine deliveries to high-risk pregnancies and complex gynecological procedures.
