Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Lynwood, California.
Job Summary
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Utilize clinical knowledge and experience to monitor and support mothers throughout the labor and delivery process
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for laboring patients and newborns
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform necessary interventions
- Administer medications, monitor fetal and maternal well-being, and document care accurately
- Educate and support patients and their families regarding the childbirth process
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Work 3x12 hour night shifts per week
- Maintain current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Preferred: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring and STABLE certifications
Med Ninjas Job ID #14901. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
