GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Opportunity:
RN - Maternal Infant Unit
Job Details:
• Work in a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit on the 3rd floor
• Day shift includes labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB tech, secretary, leadership, and educator coverage
• Night shift includes labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB tech, and secretary coverage
• Patient ratios: labor 1:1, post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patient care, newborn care, and post-partum care
• Utilize GE fetal monitors and EMR systems including Meditech and CPN
• Every third weekend required with 12 hours of call per 4-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of labor experience required
• 2+ years of labor experience with high birth volume LDRP background preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs; MIU nurses wear pink badges for infant security

This facility is a well-established hospital featuring a dedicated Maternal Infant Unit with a team of 71 staff members committed to providing comprehensive obstetric and newborn care. The unit supports a full range of maternal and infant services, including labor and delivery, post-partum care, and nursery services, with modern monitoring equipment and electronic medical record systems in place to support high-quality patient outcomes.
