GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Opportunity:
RN - Maternal Infant Unit
Job Details:
• Work in a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit providing care for labor, post-partum, and nursery patients
• Patient ratios: labor 1:1, post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
• Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patient care, newborn care, and post-partum care
• Work with GE fetal monitors and EMR systems Meditech and CPN
• Every third weekend required with 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule
• At least 2 years of labor experience required
• Preferred: 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs; MIU nurses wear pink badges for infant security
Facility:
This facility is home to a well-staffed Maternal Infant Unit featuring both day and night shift teams that include labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB techs, secretaries, and leadership and education professionals. The unit supports a comprehensive range of maternal and newborn services, operating with modern fetal monitoring equipment and advanced electronic medical record systems to ensure high-quality patient care.
