Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required; 3 years preferred
• Minimum of 1 prior travel nursing assignment required
• Current C-EFM NCC certification required at time of submission
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Mother/Baby and scrub experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity obstetrical and maternal-child health setting

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor fetal and maternal status, including interpretation of external fetal monitoring
• Support high-risk deliveries and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and related obstetric procedures as needed
• Administer medications and IV therapies according to hospital policies and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Float to Mother/Baby and provide scrub support as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely charting in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and families
