• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
• Call: 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Orientation: 36 hours

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required; 3 years preferred
• At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment required
• Current C-EFM NCC certification required at time of submittal
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE required
• ACLS preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Mother/Baby experience preferred
• Must be comfortable floating to Mother/Baby and assisting with scrub duties as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate maternal and newborn care to laboring patients, postpartum families, and newborns
• Monitor fetal status and respond promptly to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk deliveries in a high-acuity maternity unit
• Support antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, triage, and recovery care
• Perform thorough assessments, nursing interventions, and patient education throughout the birth experience
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe outcomes
• Float to Mother/Baby and provide scrub support when qualified
• Document accurately in the electronic health record and maintain strong clinical communication
