Labor & Delivery / Perinatal Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
    • Schedule Protocol: Fast-paced 17-bed L&D (with tubs) + 10-bed Perinatal unit. Nurse-to-patient ratios: L&D 1:1–1:2; Perinatal 1:3 (up to 1:4 based on acuity). No block scheduling requests allowed.
    • On-Call Protocol: No call required.
    • Floating Protocol: Required to float between L&D and Perinatal units.
    • RTO Protocol: All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of submittal (4 days maximum RTO; candidates with >4 days RTO will be automatically rejected). Zero RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of assignment.
    • Interview Requirement: Clinical interview required.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Labor & Delivery RN experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • Clinical Specialty Scope [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical mastery in intrapartum, high-risk perinatal care, labor management, continuous electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), and neonatal stabilization. Must be competent to perform neonatal workups for sepsis, administer neonatal IV antibiotics, and give neonatal medications [HARDSTOP].
  • Mandatory Technical Skills [HARDSTOP]: Direct hands-on experience in Phlebotomy within the last 12 months strictly required [HARDSTOP]. (Phlebotomy experience MUST be explicitly listed on the resume).
  • Education Accreditation Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Nursing degree must be from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE [HARDSTOP].
  • EMR Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Resume must show direct Epic EMR usage within the last 12 months or candidate will be automatically rejected [HARDSTOP].
  • State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active Ohio State RN License or multi-state eNLC Compact RN License [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - ALL 6 REQUIRED]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring — C-EFM or NCC equivalent) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification [HARDSTOP].
