Job Summary Mother/Baby Nurse Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby Newborn Care This role is based at a 270-bed healthcare facility. The position involves providing specialized care for mothers and newborns during their hospital stay, with responsibilities including newborn transition care and supporting obstetric patients. The assignment starts on 11/16/2026 and concludes on 02/13/2027.
Job Details
Position: Mother/Baby Nurse Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby Couplet Care
Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid Compact or Tennessee (TN) nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Mother/Baby or L&D; prior travel experience required.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities: Experience with newborn transition care is essential. May be required to float to NICU and L&D to assist with staffing needs.
EMR Systems: Cerner and GE Centricity.
Other Requirements: Must be flexible to meet scheduling needs of the unit; no time off approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live.
Submission: Candidates must have BLS, NRP, and Compact or TN license on file at the time of submission.
