Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in the specialty of L&D is needed at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized nursing care for females of childbearing age, including pregnant patients, in a facility that manages admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative procedures, and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean section). The role requires a Dedicated focus on maternal and fetal health during night shifts.

Job Details

• Certifications and Education Requirements: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Experience: At least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, with specific expertise in nursery/prenatal care.
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours daily, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (AWHONN - Intermediate), Cerner documentation system, and Fetalink documentation are required.
• Responsibilities include managing admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries, using necessary medical equipment such as fetal monitors.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
