Job Summary: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Austin, TX. This contract position involves providing care within the Labor and Delivery department of a healthcare facility. The RN will work night shifts on a rotating weekend schedule, with an emphasis on intermediate fetal monitoring, and will be responsible for delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume unit.

Location: 12221 N MOPAC EXPRESSWAY, Austin, TX 78758
Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, rotating weekends, minimum of 36 hours per week
Target Start Date: 09/07/2026
Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, intermediate fetal monitoring, SVE competency, C-Section circulation, no-call requirement, and ability to perform procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level IV high-volume units, internal monitor placement competency, previous HCA assignments/employments, and familiarity with common procedures performed on the unit
Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate a team-oriented personality with a positive attitude. The unit utilizes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, US, and Meditech EMR systems. The department values experienced staff and offers modern equipment and technology enhancements. Adherence to attendance policies and dress code (solid blue/black or grey sweatshirts, navy blue scrub color, no T-shirts) is expected.
