Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in the department of Labor and Delivery responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and providing patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing standards.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend, and 3 out of 6 holidays required. No on-call or float requirement.
Required Qualifications: ASN degree, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, NRP certification, 1+ year of experience in Labor and Delivery and Antepartum.
Responsibilities include performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and documenting according to standards of care and clinical priorities.
Additional information: Scrubs provided in navy blue, with experience in newborn care and the specified specialty preferred.
