Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position is based in Iowa. The role involves working in a high-volume delivery center with an average of 200-300 deliveries per month. The successful candidate will contribute to patient care within the interdisciplinary team, offering professional, clinical, and high-acuity nursing services. This assignment requires flexibility to float across local campuses within the same discipline.
Job Details:
- Location: Sioux City, Iowa
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of current Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, circulating and scrub experience, active Iowa license, AHA/ARC/BLS and ACLS certifications, AWHONN fetal monitoring certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, proficient skills checklist specific to Labor and Delivery, drivers license, and work history demonstrating experience within the past year at high-volume delivery centers
- Preferred Qualifications: Multiple travel contracts completed, EPIC STORK experience, high-risk experience
- Orientation Schedule: July 6-7, July 20-21, August 3-4, August 17-18, August 31-September 1, September 14-15, September 28-29, October 12-13, October 26-27, November 9-10, November 23-24
- Additional Information: The candidate must be comfortable floating to post-partum areas 1-2 shifts per week. Submission requires references from supervisors or managers within 24 months, and documentation of certifications and licenses.
