Position Details

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Shift: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• State License: Active California RN License required at submission
• Local Candidates: Accepted at the travel rate

Schedule Requirements

• Work 4 weekend night shifts per month (Friday and/or Saturday nights)
• Voluntary on-call
• Must be willing to float to Perinatal if needed
• May be placed on call if census does not support scheduled shift
• Self-scheduling

• Neonates
• Adolescents

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Epic experience required

Required Skills

• External fetal monitoring
• Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Circulating for Cesarean sections

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Advanced

Charting & Equipment

• Epic (required)
• Allscripts/eMD
• Omnicell
• SBAR communication
