Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty position is located in Nantucket, Massachusetts. This role involves providing care in a busy obstetric unit that serves a diverse patient population, including both routine and complex cases. The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting maternal and neonatal health during all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum care, adhering to facility protocols and safety practices. Epic and postpartum experience are required for this position.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Experience in Epic Electronic Medical Record System and postpartum care required
  • Zero to one year of relevant experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in labor and delivery nursing and postpartum care
  • Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and neonatal stabilization procedures
• Additional Information:
  • Facility fixed notes indicate a need for flexibility with rotating shifts to support patient care needs.
