Job Description
Saint Francis Health System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at its Yale Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor using fetal monitoring equipment.
Assist physicians during labor, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies.
Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other treatments as ordered.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in maternal or fetal condition.
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge instructions.
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
Collaborate with physicians, neonatal teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and mandatory education.
Minimum Requirements
Active Oklahoma RN License or Multistate Compact RN License
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Previous acute care nursing experience
Experience with patient assessment, labor management, and obstetric care
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Patterns Hiring Job ID #409. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
