Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: White Plains, NY - 10601
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Contract Length: 7 Weeks
Shift: Days | 12-Hour Shifts
Hours/week: 34.5 Hours/Week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate should have strong Labor & Delivery experience, including managing high-risk obstetric patients and supporting cesarean deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Care for high-risk OB and magnesium therapy patients.
- Perform patient assessments and documentation using EPIC.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Skills:
- Experience caring for high-risk OB patients.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work every third weekend as required.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- BSN required.
Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NRP certifications.
