Job Summary A Labor and Delivery Nurse position is available in an L&D department located in the area. This role involves delivering patients 32 weeks and above, with responsibilities including triaging patients, circulating cesarean sections, managing labor and delivery collaboratively with physicians and midwives, and completing patient recovery following vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Job Details
Position Description: Level 2 Labor and Delivery unit delivering patients 32 weeks and above. Must be able to triage patients, circulate cesarean sections, manage the labor and delivery of patients collaboratively with physicians and midwives, and complete patient recovery following vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Location Requirements: Candidates must reside outside a 60 mile radius.
Schedule: Nights shift, 7pm 7am, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of experience, previous travel experience, and EPIC electronic health record experience.
Additional Information: Must be able to multitask and work collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
