Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join an acute-care nursing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of L&D experience and be confident providing comprehensive care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to labor and delivery patients.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout the labor process.
  • Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care according to facility protocols.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in maternal or fetal status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate changes in condition effectively.
  • Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
  • Work scheduled night shifts and participate in the every-other-weekend rotation.

Required Certifications

  • BLS – Basic Life Support
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
