Job Description:

19 Week Contract for Holiday Coverage. The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery will provide comprehensive care to patients in labor and postpartum, including conducting cervical exams, managing labors, performing amnio infusions and epidurals, monitoring fetal health, and administering Pitocin. Additionally, the RN will circulate C-sections and assist with newborn care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cervical exams and manage labor processes.
• Perform amnio infusions and administer epidurals.
• Monitor fetal health and administer IVs and Pitocin.
• Circulate C-sections and catch/receive babies.
• Provide post-partum care from transition to discharge for mother and baby.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Comfortable with postpartum care.
• BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications.
• Must have strong Labor & Delivery experience and skills as outlined.
• Epic EMR experience is strongly preferred.
