Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Spokane, WA. This position involves providing obstetric and postpartum care to high- and low-risk pregnant women within a Level 3 Trauma Center. The role requires delivering compassionate, quality care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to established clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure: BLS, NRP, EFM certifications; Education: RN license; Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery; Location: Spokane, WA.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IUPC, FSE, IV starts, circulating C-sections, and familiarity with EPIC EMR, GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system, and Baxter IV pumps.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to postpartum and NICU (level 2 newborns).
  • Additional Information: The position requires working in a hospital with 12 beds and 3 operating rooms, offering support for high and low-risk ante-partum, intra-partum, and postpartum patients. The unit operates with a team of charge RNs and resource nurses, utilizing centralized telemonitoring and advanced fetal monitoring technology. Orientation typically lasts 2-3 shifts based on competency.
