We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Labor & Delivery contract assignment in Glendale, Arizona. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced L&D RN who is comfortable working night shifts in an acute-care hospital setting.

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor
Perform patient assessments and recognize changes in condition
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Monitor fetal heart rate and contraction patterns
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team
Provide patient and family education and emotional support
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards
Requirements
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
Recent acute-care hospital experience
Strong knowledge of maternal and fetal assessment
Experience caring for patients throughout labor and delivery
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
Must be available for the full 13-week contract
