Job Summary: The Labor and Delivery (L&D) department nurse position is located at the healthcare providers facility. This role involves caring for high-risk obstetric patients, managing postpartum and gynecological care, and performing procedures related to delivery. The nurse will also support neonatal units and participate in work across multiple departments as needed.
Job Details:
Certifications Required: CPR/BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Education Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, and Gynaecology, along with valid licensure

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with some day shifts; 36 hours minimum per week
Required Qualifications: Valid CPR/BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications. Minimum of 3 years experience in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, and Gynaecology.
Additional Information: Willing to float to Neonatal Nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; assisting with high-risk patients, postpartum mother and baby care, and Gynaecology surgical post-operative care. Familiarity with fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, vital signs monitors, OBIX documentation, and EPIC system required.
